About me

I’m Zdenko Podlesnik, an amateur photographer from Slovenia. I have been interested in photography long before the digital era. I started with Zenit and Practica, the last analog camera I owned was Minolta and then digital photography came along. My first digital camera was a compact FujiFilm FinePix6800zoom. Since 2007 I’m using Pentax DSLR cameras.

Two of my great passions in life are travel and photography that’s why I mostly take wildlife, birds, nature, and landscape photos. In 2010 I had my first solo exhibition “Life in Costa Rica.” I’m also interested in macro photography.
